Ohio State Football fans shouldn’t fret at missing out on 5-star WR

The Ohio State football program lost out on a five-star wide receiver recruit on Thursday when Joshisa Trader decided to choose Miami over the Buckeyes. As far as recruiting battles go, this one wasn’t as intense as Miami fans would like you to believe.

First of all, Trader wasn’t a priority for the Ohio State football team. If you take a look at their current 2024 recruiting class, they already have two five-star receivers in the class. They have both Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham. They don’t need another one.

If the Buckeyes had landed Trader it would have been nice, but they weren’t really expecting to get him.
