MADISON, Wis. — Junior Baidy Ba broke his own Kent State cross country 10K record with a personal-best time of 30:02.4 to finish 13th at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Friday.
With his second straight top-25 finish at the meet, Ba is the first Golden Flash to earn multiple All-Region honors. The junior placed made his move during the fourth 2K split and sat ninth with just 2K remaining before dropping back out of the top-10.
