CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Boston College football 2024 season opener at Florida State on Monday, Sept. 2 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN as announced by the ACC on Tuesday morning. The Labor Day game will mark the first under Bill O'Brien, who was named the 37th head coach in program history this past February.
The Eagles are 5-16 all-time against FSU, including a narrow 31-29 defeat on ABC last season. Boston College and Florida State have never met in the season opener, but the two sides have been matched up in BC's ACC opener twice as the Eagles hosted the Seminoles for their first-ever ACC game in 2005 and again met Florida State in their first league game in 2015.
